Distribution of Food-packs for Typhoon Urduja affected families

TABANGO, LEYTE – Distribution of food-packs for 8,461 typhoon Urduja affected families have started this month of January.

“As of today, 5,000 food-packs were delivered from the DSWD Regional office and we’ve already started distributing it to the first two (2) barangays, namely, Tugas on January 22, 2018 and Campokpok on January 25, 2018”, said Violeta B. Uy, MSWD Officer.

“We will still be receiving food-packs from the DSWD Regional Office for the remaining supply. Distribution will continue until all the 13 barangays of Tabango will be able to receive this government aid,” she continued.

The team will be going to Barangay Inangatan on January 30, 2018 to continue distributing the food-packs.
